Joe The Dog Hertzler

We would like to thank everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers for Joey. He had a rough week after a tumor opened on his back leg and his health took a turn for the worse. There was a day or two where it looked like we might lose him. We took him in to the vet and had a bunch of tests done. To our surprise, the tests came back exceptionally good and so we had him patched up and put on bed rest. This guy is such a champ and hasn't made a peep through what would have been a major surgery for anyone.

He might not come in first in any races or win any beauty pageants this summer, but he is resting comfortably (as usual) and seems to be on track for recovery.
