It was quiet with just the 3 of us, but we kept it exciting by partaking in local activities like hikes by Eberhard"s Barn, swimming at the outdoor pool in Koenigstein overlooking the Castle, taking Stew to an aquarium to see the Sealife, building gingerbread houses with friends, exploring a few new towns, an adults only bowling night, and a couple of days just spent lounging in our pj's until dinner : )
We even kept up the Hertzler Family Tradition of having crab legs on Christmas, which is always a nice way to cap off a holiday!
Stew was especially excited about Christmas this year and we think he's finally past his fear of unwrapping presents since he realized that there is always fun stuff inside!
