There are four row houses all together, with ourselves being the unit on the end. The other three families have been here since the houses were built and have had the distinct pleasure of watching expat family after expat family move in and out of our humble abode.
We were welcomed with open arms and graciously included in a regular dinner event that moves from house to house every couple of months. So far we have been to two of them, with one more slated before it's "The American's" turn to blow some minds.
They have all been so thoughtful and patient with us the last few months and we feel very lucky to have met such wonderful friends and "Nachbar" (neighbors). Our immediate neighbors to the right (Walter & Pia) have been especially wonderful since our arrival. Helping us with ridiculous questions, complimenting our weak attempts at gardening, and showering Stew with attention.
Suzanne was even nice enough to invite us to her 50th Birthday party over the summer, which was an AMAZING evening in the Bad Soden Dance School. Live entertainment, dancing lessons, amazing food, and new friends. Here is a picture as she joined her instructor in a Salsa show for all her friends and family.
